Father of John aged 6 high functioning autistic PDA-ish. Am interested in concept of autism as 'more than brain' dysfunction e.g. immune issues eczema,otitis,bowel problems,low muscle tone,uncommonly attractive facies-cytokines-big head-on going neurological development delayed and dysfunctional ,aggressive process at 12-18 months -different hits to coding systems leads to wide variation in spectrum which needs a common unifying medical(not psychological) theory-early biochemical detection ? retrospective study raised HCG c.f.Downs similar coding problems , raised testosterone. |
