I'm a 36-year-old German Aspie from a large family of people with Asperger's. My son, 15, is AS as well. I'm unable to hold a job down, but this is not only due to AS but also other disabilities (bad eyeshight, fibromyalgia, heart issues etc).
I don't think we need to be cured, but we need to learn differently and have to try to adapt as everyone else. Anytime I get frustrated at so-called NTs I have to think about how frustrating I must be to them. :o)
