I work for a non-profit agency aimed at helping individuals and familes of children with disabilities and special needs. My six year old son has autism and three out of the five employees in our office have children with autism. I advocate for families in the IEP process nad have been able to gain access to a wide variety of services and programs for my own son. I actively promote autism awareness at the university I attend. |
