Personal profile I have a 14 year old son with severe aspergers syndrome who finds every day a struggle. Unfortunately, noboby at his school will acknowledge this as he looks perfectly normal or 'neurotypical' so he is having to cope in situations he finds impossible. I often feel that it is like having a child with no arms and legs and taking them to the swimming pool every day in the hope that one day they will learn how to swim. It would be nice if the lifeguards would pay attention now and again though!
