Unique S4C calendar raises money for Autism Cymru|
CARDIFF, Wales: To celebrate the 80th anniversary of the little black dress, Fflic television Company - who produce the series “Cwpwrdd Dillad” for S4C - has produced a unique calendar, all proceeds of which be donated to S4C’s chosen charity for 2006, Autism Cymru.
The calendar features some of Wales’s biggest celebrities wearing their favourite little black dress. The celebrities featured in the calendar are:
Nia Parry (“Cwpwrdd Dillad” Presenter), Shan Cothi (Singer/Actress), Nia Roberts (Presenter), Nia Roberts (Actress), Angharad Mair (Presenter), Lucy Owen (Presenter), Fiona Phillips (GMTV Presenter), Sarra Elgan (Presenter), Menna Trussler (Actress), Sian Lloyd (Weather Presenter), Cerys Matthews(Singer), Sian Phillips (Actress). The photographer is Rhian ap Gruffydd.
There will be an exhibition of the calendar’s photographs in S4C at the National Eisteddfod in Swansea. The exhibition will be launched at 3pm on Monday, August 7.
Some of the celebrities featured in the calendar will attend the launch and there will also be a chance to bid for a very special little black dress. Come to the launch to find out whose dress it is.
The calendar will be on sale at The Eisteddfod and in your local shops.
