STEPHEN WILTSHIRE, WORLD'S MOST FAMOUS AUTISTIC SAVANT ARTIST, WILL BE ONLINE AT AUTISM CYMRU'S SECOND AWARES FREE INTERNATIONAL ONLINE CONFERENCE STARTING ON OCTOBER 4
LONDON, UK: Stephen Wiltshire, the world's most famous autistic savant artist, will be online next week, on October 4, 6 and 11, 2006, at the second Awares international online autism conference to answer your questions. Stephen can look at a target once and then draw a very accurate and very detailed picture of it from memory. He once drew the whole of central London after a helicopter trip above it. Since 2004, he has drawn Berlin, Tokyo, Hong Kong, Rome and Frankfurt on giant panoramic canvasses entirely from memory.
The writer and psychologist, Oliver Sacks, devoted an essay to Stephen in his book, An Anthropologist On Mars.
Stephen joins more than 60 of the world's leading autism experts taking part in the Awares online conference from October 4-11, 2006. Entry to the conference is totally free and open to everyone. You can register right now at www.autism2006.org where you will find the abstracts of almost all the experts' papers and you can exchange views with other delegates. Adam Feinstein will be opening the full papers up for viewing early next week and the experts will be online from October 4 to answer your questions.
