Music therapist runs half-marathon for Autism Cymru
CARDIFF, Wales: Autism Cymru is very pleased to announce that Dan Thomas (Musicatwork) has been brave enough to put himself forward to run the Cardiff half marathon on behalf of Autism Cymru. All the funds raised will go towards running a series of free Music Therapy workshops throughout Wales aimed at showing the benefits of Music Therapy for people with Autism. The amount and size of workshops will be dependant on the amount of money raised.
Please show your support and help us keep moving the Autism agenda forward in Wales.

Who is Dan Thomas?
State registered music therapist Dan Thomas has been working with children and young people with autistic spectrum disorders since 2002 and continues to be passionate about the difference that music therapy can make within the autistic setting.
Founded in 2005 by Dan Thomas, Musicatwork works in partnership with independent education providers and Local Education Authorities to provide music therapy services for mainstream and special schools. Musicatwork works with children and adults with a range of conditions, such as dementia, palliative care, autism/ASD, SEBD, challenging behaviours, PMLD or cerebral palsy.
This is Dan's first attempt at a half marathon and, though a keen tennis player, he is relishing this new challenge.
